Welcome to Riga — again!

The next State of the Map Baltics conference comes back to the city, for the fourth time inviting everybody from Baltic states and beyond to share their ideas and experience related to OpenStreetMap. This time, only for a day: 4 June 2026 (which is a Thursday). Join us for a day full of talks and meeting new people!

This SotM is a part of the Baltic Geospatial Information Technology Conference. We cannot thank them enough for letting us borrow a room for OSM-related talks. Which also means, if you get bored of these, you can attend any of the other tracks to listen to more specialized topics.

The main conference happens in rooms Magnum and Dextrum, while the OSM session is on the second floor in room 223. Our talks start right after lunch.

Friday Workshops

On Friday, the conference won’t happen, and students will claim the rooms for their tasks. But we will have room 319 on the third floor available, and there will be workshops:

• 9:00: Priscilla Zachee, “Let’s build the map together: join our hands-on mapping workshop with TomTom and MapRoulette”
• 11:00: Ilja Zverev, “Fool around with map of Riga, building silly maps for fun and learning”
• 13:00: Bicycle ride to the sea shore until 18:30
